The Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) of South Australia, in collaboration with the International Conferences on Community Health Nursing Research (ICCHNR) are pleased to present the 4th ICCHNR Conference:

“Health in Transition: Researching for the Future”, 16-20 August 2009, Adelaide, South Australia.

This international nursing and community health care conference will examine the contribution of research towards the understanding and impact of transitions on the health care of individuals, their families and communities.

The logo for the conference represents people experiencing transition as growth (like a tree) to health and well-being.  The wave like circles at the bottom represent the foundation of community health research (rooted in primary care) and growth in this area.

The tree is the growth of the client and through this the variable branches (as different sized elliptical shapes) represent the different transitions of health.  The use of earth tones reflects the Australian palate, and incorporated into this is the RDNS colour swatch for further emphasis of our involvement with the conference.

We invite you to Adelaide, South Australia to share research and practice experiences that aim to meet the needs of those in transition.
