Formed in 1894, the Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) SA Inc is a not for profit, non government home and community nursing organisation. RDNS provides high quality mobile nursing and care to people living in their homes in Adelaide, South Australia.
About the RDNS Research Unit
The RDNS Research Unit was established in 1996 and is vital to the promotion of evidence-based community health. Guided by Primary Health Care principles, and governed by the RDNS Ethical Guidelines Policy, the contribution to the quality of life and health outcomes of individuals and communities via research and development of knowledge, is evidenced by an extensive research and publication track record.

About ICCHNR
Formed as a registered charity in 1995, ICCHNR (International Conferences on Community Health Nursing Research) is an organization committed to supporting community nursing in developing countries through its international network of nurse researchers, international conferences and fundraising activities. ICCHNR aims to:
- Demonstrate the value of community health care nursing research for improving the quality of health care
- Advance and share knowledge of community health care nursing practice through research
- Increase personal commitment by community nurses for evidence based practice
- Encourage the appropriate use of research for community nursing
- Promote awareness of the contribution of community health care nursing to health public policies and alliances
